SALMoN implements and supports community-based monitoring (CBM) efforts throughout Southeast Alaska. This website profiles a sample of many of these efforts, is a portal for publicly-accessible data and reports, serves as a tool for engaging communities, and facilitates communication between current and future collaborators.
SALMoN is hosted and coordinated by the Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition (SAWC). We are engaged with similar networks across Alaska, including the Alaskan Ocean Observing System, The Atlas of Community-Based Monitoring in a Changing Arctic, Alaska Online Aquatic Temperature Site, and others.
